Each day I wake up and am continuously amazed that this is my life! Wow- the beauty and magic of Punta Mona is practically beyond words... each day I look out at the gorgeous ocean, just beyond my front yard... a front yard full of tropical flora- brilliantly colored flowers, fruit trees, and lush lush green... butterflies of every size and color, birds of a hundred different songs, the call of the proud monkeys,  60-something kinds of bananas, fresh organic food everyday, fresh air, solar power, eco-conscious living, bonfires and drums by night, and the people... the people are the best of the best- brilliant, talented, beautiful, artistic, motivated, dedicated, creative, ecowarriors...yes, this is my home...

So yesterday I woke and ate breakfast in this magical place with these magical people... the sun shone bright and the sky was blue... my kids ran about, laughing, playing in the fresh air... a few visitors arrived and helped with farm projects... I visited with Padi, listened to his sage advice and vivid stories...late afternoon, Alvin- a guest here and member of the Cirque de Soleil, gave us acrobat workshops on the beach out front- learned to do back flips and stand high on shoulders... then for a swim in the gorgeous Carribbean sea with friends and children... dinner- gourmet vegetarian food from the farm...later- bonfire, drums, digeridoo, songs, and a back rub

I never imagined life could be so sweet.
